12/6/2008I s'pose it was bound to happen, but it feels like I'm giving up a body part! I am now baba-less between the hours of 6 AM and 7 PM. It was rough, but I handled it like a big boy.
I absolutely refuse, though, to give up that last baba of the night. I mean, what am I supposed to do - go to sleep without it?? Yeah...I didn't think so...
12/3/2008Our son is growing up too soon! Can you believe it - he kissed a girl! I guess we used up our Katy Perry reference too early. :)
And he likes the older ladies...the little girl he kissed was 17 months!
I hope she enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed hearing about it. I would have given anything to have seen it happen. Oh well - I know just how enticing and irresitable that little face is when he's all puckered up... 11/29/2008I'm beat. Thursday morning, me, Mom, Dad and my brother all drove about 3 hours up to Los Osos CA to visit Dad's side of the family for Thanksgiving. We stopped in Solvang along the way so that I could stretch my legs and we could feed Mommy.
Thanksgiving dinner was FUN. I was quite the gentleman with fine dining manners ...
We stayed with Dad's Aunt Sherri and Uncle Sam. It was lots of fun. We had a SECOND Thanksgiving dinner on Friday with just Aunt Sherri and Uncle Sam. Once again, I devoured my food. Mommy got pressured into letting me have pumpkin pie and ice cream for dessert. MMMMMMM. We came home late last night, and I've been recuperating all day. What a great time. 11/18/2008I've jumped past the "taking a few steps" stage to full on walking. I can boogey all around the house, change direction, bend over and pick stuff up. What a weekend. On Friday night, I stayed at school late while my parents went out with some friends at dinner. My school does Friday "date nights" once a month, so I got to play with my buddies until 9pm.
On Saturday, Mom and Dad went out for Mom's birthday to some cooking school. Mom already cooks pretty well, so I'm not sure what Dad's angle is there. But, I got to hang out with my favorite baby sitter.
Sunday, I met my pal Nikolas at the mall and we did some winter shopping for me, and then played on the playground. Good times. 11/5/2008I've been taking a few steps lately, but today I decided to commit to this "walking" thing. I'm confidently moving around, and taking 5,6,7 steps before face-planting on the ground. Watson is looking PRETTY worried right now. 10/25/2008Just finished up my first birthday party. I'm beat. Mom and Dad invited lots of our friends and family and I got to eat a cupcake. I tore that thing UP!

It was time. My shaggy dog days are done. Mom and Dad (and Grandpa!) took me for a haircut. I was a champ. I think this haircut makes me look rather dashing.
